PERMISSION is being sought for a drive-thru coffee shop near the M8 motorway at Hillington Park.
Drawings submitted to Renfrewshire Council show the outlet would be a Starbucks.
The development would be on land beside Hillington Road at Huntly Road. The application is pending assessment by officials.
A number of other Starbucks drive-thrus are proposed in the Glasgow area including at Polmadie Road, Dalmarnock/Rutherglen,
and Govan, all of which have been approved, and two for which decisions have still to be made, at Glasgow Harbour, and at London Road, near Junction 2A of the M74.
