CINEMA And Restaurant Development At St Enoch Centre Gets Underway

WORK has started on transforming the eastern end of St Enoch Shopping Centre by creating a multi-screen cinema and nine restaurants.

The development within the former 76,000 sq ft BHS store will completely ‘re-anchor’ the Glasgow City Centre complex.

There will be a nine-screen 30,000 sq ft. Vue cinema and nine first floor restaurants, ranging in size between 2,000 sq ft and 5,000 sq ft,

The project is due to be completed by the end of 2019. Leasing discussions with key tenants are at an advanced stage.

Mike Thomas of co-owners Sovereign Centros, said: “This is great news for the City. Our exciting plans will substantially improve the centre’s offer, extend dwell times and provide a real focus for eating and leisure “
