CITY Centre Chippy’s Plan For Bigger Restaurant

11 January, 2019 | News, Food and Drink

PLANS have been submitted to expand the Blue Lagoon fish and chip restaurant/takeaway under Glasgow Central Station into a shop next door.

City planners are being asked to approve a change-of-use application involving premises currently trading as newsagent Sweet News.

Plans show the shop in Argyle Street would be turned into extra sit-in restaurant space with seating for around 50 people.

The premises would continue to operate seven days a week, 9am to 5am.

The proposal is pending assessment by officials.
