7 September, 2018 | News, Residential

SEVENTY-five homes are being proposed at the very northern edge of Glasgow by developer Cruden Estates.

The firm has lodged a planning applications with the city council for 75 two and three-bedroom, semi-detached and terraced houses in Drumchapel.

They would be built on vacant ground at Lilyburn Place, Fasque Place and Achamore Road.

The site, beside farmland and countryside, previously had four and eight-storey flats that were demolished in 2007.

Planning documents state: “The proposal is for residential development on a brownfield site that will provide a viable and marketable development in Drumchapel.

“The houses will provide an attractive addition to the existing market for good quality family housing in Drumchapel.

“All dwellings proposed for the site will be provided with level access to the houses and gardens. All houses will have private gardens.”

The application is pending assessment by planning officers.
