FLATS Conversion Put Forward For St Enoch Square Premises

5 March, 2020 | News, Residential

APARTMENTS are being proposed for the upper floors of two buildings in St Enoch Square, Glasgow.

An application has been made seeking permission to turn empty offices at 26 to 36 St Enoch Square into 30 one-bedroom flats. One of the buildings — 34/36 St Enoch Square — is B-listed.

A statement submitted with proposal explains: “St Enoch Square was historically designated to be a residential square and so these proposals reintroduce residential back into St Enoch Square and will provide Glasgow City Centre with much needed central living.”

The application is pending assessment by city planners.

Plans for serviced apartments at the Teacher building nearby were recently approved.
