FORMER City Centre Nightclub Can Be Turned Into Shop

3 July, 2018 | News

PLANNERS have given permission for a former Glasgow City Centre bar/nightclub to be used as a shop.

They also agreed that parts of the upper floors at 40 Fox Street can be used for offices, instead of purely for leisure/gym use.

A report by planning officials states: “The proposed development will allow the vacant premises to come back into use, thereby contributing towards protecting and improving the quality of the physical environment.”

Application documents don’t state if an operator for the shop has been lined up.
