5 November, 2019 | News, Residential

REVISED plans have been drawn up for housing on former school land in Glasgow’s East End.

Shettleston Housing Association has applied to build 44 houses and flats at the old St Mark’s Primary site in Muiryfauld Drive at Edenwood Street, beside the north end of Tollcross Park.

A previous application, now withdrawn, proposed 40 dwellings.

There would be a range of accommodation types:

— Eight cottage flats, four of them wheelchair-accessible.

— Fifteen three-bedroom terraced houses.

— Two four-bedroom semi-detached houses.

— Nineteen two-bedroom flats.

The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City planners.
