GLASGOW Set For Scotland’s First Drive-Thru Greggs Outlet

15 April, 2020 | Food and Drink

A DRIVE-thru Greggs cafe is being proposed for a site in north west Glasgow.

If approved, the restaurant would be built at Great Western Retail Park.

It would be in the car park area beside Burger King and Pizza Hut, at Allerdyce Court, adjacent to Great Western Road.

Proposed opening hours are 5am till midnight, seven days a week. Outside seating would be included.

The reconfigured car park would have 72 spaces compared with 100 currently.

Greggs have several drive-thru outlets in England, the first opening in 2017, but none in Scotland.

The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City planners.
