GLOBAL Fitness Network Opening Its First Scottish Studio In Glasgow

5 September, 2019 | News, Arts, Leisure, Entertainment and Sport

ONE of the world’s fastest growing fitness phenomenons is coming to Glasgow.

Functional training community F45 — which specialises in innovative, high-intensity group workouts — already has dozens of venues operating, or due to open soon, in England.

Council planners have now agreed that an empty betting shop at a B-listed building in Glasgow City Centre can be converted into a gym.

It will be F45’s first outlet in Scotland and is expected to open next month.

The change-of-use application has been approved for space in the basement at the Scottish Legal Life Assurance building, 89 West Campbell Street.

Fitness classes, each lasting 45 minutes, will be held throughout the day — the studio is expected to operate from 5.30am to early evening.
