WORK is to start on transforming the former Anniesland Jobcentre site into 48 flats.

Housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel is to convert the concrete office block into a development of 46 two-bedroom and two three-bedroom flats, for private sale.

How the development is expected to look

The building is in Herschell Street, just off Great Western Road, near Anniesland railway station.

Changes will include a brick and bronze façade, new stairwells, balconies and creation of rooftop penthouses.
