A GLASGOW gable end has been transformed with a mural of St Thenue, mother of Glasgow’s patron saint St Mungo.

The work on Abercromby Street is by artist Mark Worst and was commissioned by Thenue Housing Association.

Charles Turner, chief executive, said: “This is an important artwork which reinforces the strong historical connection Thenue has with the city of Glasgow.

“It also transforms a gable end wall into a new East End landmark which we are sure will be welcomed by many local people and others passing by.”
