MERCHANT Homes have applied to build 132 houses at Easterhouse.
The private housing development is proposed for vacant land bounded By Stepford Road, Wellhouse Road and Wardie Road, close to Edinburgh Road, next to Stepford Sports Park.
If approved, there would two, three-and four-bedroom detached, semi-detached and terraced houses
The main access to the site would be from Wardie Road.
The land previously contained 250 flats in three-storey buildings.
The application is pending assessment by Glasgow City Council planning officers.
