29 September, 2018 | News, Residential

PERMISSION is being sought for a major housing development in the Royston area of Glasgow.

Goodwill Property Developments want to build 111 semi-detached and terraced houses on vacant land bounded by Darnick Street, Royston Road and railway lines.

There would be 30 two-bedroom properties, 79 three-bedroom properties and two with four bedrooms.

A document submitted as part of the planning application states: “The design aims to create an active, safe, accessible, inclusive urban neighbourhood with well-considered features all in close proximity to Glasgow city centre.”

The proposal is pending assessment by Glasgow City Council planners.
