GLASGOW Housing Association has been given permission for a residential development on the northern edge of the city.
City planners have agreed that 49 properties can be built for social rent on a site bounded by Scaraway Terrace, Scaraway Street and Scaraway Place in Milton. The land was recently cleared of post-war tenement housing.
There will be 36 two and three-bedroom terraced house and 12 two-bedroom cottage flats (six of them wheelchair adaptable) plus one wheelchair adaptable detached house.
Forty-nine off-street parking spaces will be provided plus eight on-street spaces for visitors.
