A TRIO of new lettings has been announced at Academy Park, on the south side of Glasgow.

The commercial estate off Gower Street, near Dumbreck, was purchased in March by Kewbrook who have managed to quickly fill up a number of voids through a flexible and competitive leasing strategy, alongside agreeing on a lease extension with one of their existing tenants.

New tenants confirmed by joint letting agents Ryden and Cargill Property Consultants include domestic energy advisors Think Energy, who have leased 2,330 sq ft on the ground floor of Building 3, and business communications provider Olive Communications, who will occupy 1,787 sq ft of ground floor space within Building 4.

Construction debt recovery specialists Glenwood Ltd have also leased the first floor of Building 9, taking over 1,825 sq ft of space.

In addition, existing occupier Simply Biz have extended their lease over the first floor of Building 2.

Jane Loddy, group surveyor for Kewbrook comments: “Our purchase of Academy Park further cements our commitment to Scottish commercial property alongside our other assets, and we are delighted to have secured these new lettings in such quick succession and retained one of existing tenants.

“We have a further letting progressing well we expect to announce shortly.”

Tim Jacobsen, of joint letting agents Ryden added: “Kewbrook have adopted a pragmatic letting strategy that has paid dividends for them already -– competitive accommodation available on flexible terms in a mature and highly accessible location, with great on-site car parking is currently proving popular.”
