29 March, 2018 | News, Public Realm, Universities and Colleges

IMPROVEMENTS to public realm at part of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow City Centre have been approved by planners.

Work outside the Graduate Business School, 199 Cathedral Street, will include hard landscaping plus provision of  seating and bicycle stands.

Ageing paving will be replaced and low level walls will be removed in favour of granite planters.

A report by council officials states: “The proposed works are considered to be an upgrade of the existing area, with high quality materials.”
