COTTONRAKE Bakery has applied to open a cafe in an empty Glasgow West End shop.
The eatery is proposed for 717 Great Western Road, near the junction with Byres Road.
Drawings submitted to city planners show the cafe would have seating for around 40.
Opening hours would be 8am to 6pm.
Cottonrake currently have a bakery with a sit-in area further along Great Western Road, near Kelvinbridge.
The change-of-use application is awaiting assessment by council officials.
