WEST End Cafe/Coffee Bar Plan Refused

9 November, 2018 | News

GLASGOW planners have rejected a plan for an empty West End shop to be turned into a cafe/coffee bar.

The change-of-use application was for a former print/copy shop at 58 Gibson Street, at Eton Lane.

Officials gave various reasons for the refusal.

They said cooking fumes and storage of waste in the shared back court would have an adverse affect on residents of nearby flats.

They also said the applicant had not shown that the property had been marketed for shop use for at least 12 months without success.
