AROUND 140 houses are being proposed for the site of a former bus depot in Glasgow’s East End.
AS Homes (Scotland) is preparing a planning application for 252 Tollcross Road in Parkhead.
A document submitted to Glasgow City Council, as part of procedures to assess environmental impact, states that around 138 homes would be built on the three-hectare site.
Agents for the developer say it is very likely that low-rise, two-storey properties will be provided throughout.
The depot closed in 2010 and has been demolished. Work on new housing is underway to the west and south.
