19 September, 2018 | News, Residential

PERMISSION has been given for a development of 34 flats on a vacant site in Yorkhill.

Glasgow City Council’s planning committee approved the application by Surplus Property Solutions HoldingsĀ  for land at 202 Yorkhill Street.

The building will have four floors at the side fronting Gilbert Street, rising to six storeys at the Kelvinhaugh Street side.

All the flats will have two bedrooms. There will be 17 car parking spaces.

The site is made up of a two-storey former council depot on the corner of Yorkhill Street and Gilbert Street, a vacant site on the corner of Yorkhill Street and Kelvinhaugh Street, and a disused railway cutting in the western part of the site, overgrown with trees.
